CNC Log Pro ("we", "us", or "our") operates the CNC Log Pro mobile application (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data responsibly.

This Privacy Policy tells you what data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and what choices you have. By using our App, you agree to the practices described here.

We do not sell personal data or sensitive user data to anyone. We only share data in the specific situations described in this policy.

2. What Data We Collect and Store

All data listed below is stored exclusively on your device. We do not have access to it, we do not upload it to any server, and we do not back it up to the cloud.

This app does not collect any data from your device other than what is listed above. We do not access your contacts, calendar, location, microphone, camera roll, or any other device data except photos you specifically choose to add to projects.

You can export all your data at any time using the backup feature in the app (Menu > Support > Backup). Uninstalling the app removes all local data permanently.

3. How We Use Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to make the app work and to process payments. Each service has its own privacy policy.

3.1 Google Play (Payments and Subscriptions)

What it does: Processes subscription payments for CNC Log Pro Premium
What Google collects: Payment card information, purchase history, Google account information, transaction identifiers

3.2 Firebase Crashlytics (Error Reporting)

What it does: Reports app crashes and errors to help us identify and fix bugs
What is collected: Device model, operating system version, app version, exception type and stack trace, app state at time of crash

3.3 Firebase Analytics (Usage Analytics)

Provider: Google LLC
What it does: Collects anonymized usage data to help us understand how users interact with the app and improve user experience
What is collected:

  • Screen views and navigation patterns within the app
  • App feature usage (e.g., which buttons are clicked, which screens are visited)
  • Device type, operating system version, and app version
  • Anonymous session duration and engagement metrics

This data is aggregated and anonymized. No personal data such as your name, email, project content, or photos is collected through Firebase Analytics.

3.4 Cloudflare Workers (Subscription Verification)

Provider: Cloudflare Inc.
What it does: Securely verifies your Premium subscription status without exposing your account credentials
What is transmitted: A subscription token only. No personal data, no project data, no device identifiers are sent

3.5 Google AdMob (Advertising)

Provider: Google LLC
What it does: Shows advertisements to users on the free tier
What Google AdMob collects:

  • Android Advertising ID (AAID) - used for ad personalization and analytics
  • Device type, model, manufacturer, and OS version
  • Approximate location (country and region level)
  • List of installed apps on your device
  • App usage data and ad interaction data
  • Coarse usage history related to ads

4. What Data We Share and With Whom

We do not sell personal data or sensitive user data to advertisers, data brokers, or any other third parties.

This app is not directed to or intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect, use, or store any personal information from anyone under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete that data immediately.

CNC Log Pro is developed and operated from our location. Third-party service providers (Google LLC, Cloudflare Inc.) are based in the United States. When you use the app, your data may be processed on servers in the United States or other countries where these providers operate.

These providers comply with applicable data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR where applicable.

If we make material changes to how we handle your data, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will post a notice in the app and update the Privacy Policy URL in Google Play Console.
